*Brand 1 uses a mixture of peptide bonded amino acids with an undisclosed amount of leucine and BCAAs but which also contains other amino acids, including non-essential amino acids (which do not increase protein synthesis beyond that of giving essential amino acids).
Grenade Defend® BCAA utilises micronized amino acids fermented from natural sources to ensure quality, purity and mix-ability; giving you confidence in every serving. Amino acids have commonly been obtained from animal sources, including hydrolysis of duck feathers and human hair. To obtain amino acids by this manner relies on harsh conditions and a high acidity hydrolysis process, not to mention the fact the raw material can be human hair!
